Pre-Varnish For Interior Woodwork
Ensures a long lasting and quality finish to wooden flooring.
Purpose
Liberon Pre-varnish gives a long lasting and quality finish to wood and parquet flooring. Recommend for use on sanded floors it reduces the darkening of wood and helps prevent tannins rising to keep the original beauty of the wood when it is varnished. Suitable for use with Liberon High Resistance Floor Varnish, Liberon Pre-varnish reinforces the durability of the varnish and aids application. Pre-varnish is recommended for use on Oak, Pine and most woods.

Preparation
Ensure that the surface is clean and dry. De-wax, sand and remove dust as required.
Application
Shake / stir well before use. The product has a milky appearance which disappears after application. Apply one coat of Pre-varnish evenly using a brush or roller. Allow to dry for a minimum of 1 hour, lightly sanding the surface with a fine sand paper before applying a finish of varnish.
Important
Always test product on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for colour change, compatibility and end result.
Liberon Advice
After sanding and cleaning the floor, wipe over with a damp cloth to remove any remaining sawdust. Ideal application conditions are between 12 and 25 °C.
Precautions
For use with solvent varnish only. Do not use with oil finishes.
