The mighty Oak king of the woods another one of my favorites both for turning and making beautiful tables. Oak is a heavy, very strong and very hard wood, it is durable under exposure, great wear-resistance. It is mostly used for flooring, furniture, cabinets, ships and woodturning. Oaks can be stained beautifully with a wide range of finish tones.
