The G3 chuck is lighter and more compact than the Supernova2, making it suitable for use on any lathe, but is perfect for use on small to medium sized machines. The more compact design reduces load on the spindles and bearings and gives good access to smaller workpieces.
Universal Jaw Fixing System Both chucks feature the same jaw fixings that will accept the full range of Nova series jaws, providing great flexibility. This system is also compatible with the jaws of some other manufacturers.
High Tensile Strength The chuck bodies are made from precision machined K145 high tensile steel, for superior strength and performance. Polished soft metal finish allows for finer tolerances.
Precision Engineered Geared Action With Tufflock™ technology providing precise, hardened geared action and delivering exceptionally smooth strength. Solid and vibration free.
